Kuwait has ordered the local Internet services providers to block the web page YouTube of exchange of videos because some paper clips can offend the Muslims.
“Since the web page presents to the Koran in the shape of songs … and shows disrespectful images of the prophet Mahoma … please proceed with immediate effect to block the web page www.youtube.com”, it is read in a copy of the note obtained by Reuters.
The Department of Communications was not for the time being available for making comments. The web page was still accessible on Monday in Kuwait.
